SUSTAINABILITY
What we measure, we can improve.
Sustainable aquaculture is not proven with logos: it is proven with numbers. These are ours.
KEY METRICS
The numbers behind the claim.
Every figure below is independently auditable and updated annually.
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Circular economy, not metaphor.
Biofloc acts simultaneously as a biological filter and as a complementary feed source. Solids removed from the system are channeled into byproducts: shell and head meal for animal feed, agricultural fertilizer for local producers. Water stays in the system, cycle after cycle.
- Continuous reuse of culture water
- Byproducts valorized, not discarded as waste
- Zero discharge to the natural environment
- Renewable energy share growing progressively
CERTIFICATION
First indoor shrimp farm in the world certified by ASC.
The Aquaculture Stewardship Council certification is the most demanding standard in the sector. It covers environmental impact, animal welfare, working conditions and traceability. Audited annually by independent third parties.

Spain, end to end.
Noray's supply chain is fully Spanish: postlarvae produced in our own hatchery, feed manufactured in Spain, salt from Torrevieja, energy contracted from national operators, distribution from Castilla. Producing in Spain, for Spain, without intercontinental transport, is the sustainability decision with the greatest real impact.
CARBON FOOTPRINT
Carbon footprint compared
Producing shrimp in Medina del Campo eliminates refrigerated transport from Asia or Latin America. The difference is significant.
